Socks, socks and more socks, and my tricolour cotton project

My tricolour cotton project is soon-to-be matching potholders and wash cloths for the kitchen. The colours matches textiles and other more or less useful design items.

Pattern: Based on Toe up Serpentine socks, Wendy Johnson
Changes: Pattern works all around the leg without dividing stripes.
Yarn: 86g Jitterbug, 100% Merino
Needles: 2 x 20 cm Harmony woods size 2,5
Final Verdict: After knitting two pair of socks with size timber, I really look forward to use my tooth picks size 2 again.

Pattern: My own, just stripes of two different colours multicoloured yarn.
Yarn: Noro Kureyon Sock
Needles: 2 x 20 cm Harmony woods size 2
Final Verdict: Long time no blog; these were knitted in The Netherlands to have some brainless knitting to do while having fun, drinking and chatting with my friends.
Because of how nice the feeling and fit of Noro-socks, I keep on forgetting how horrible they are to knit. The yarn constantly changing from bulky to cobweb, and all the knots and crazy colours appearing which you have to cut off to make the one sock similar to the other... unless you keep in mind how nice the socks will turn out in the end, you might just have a nervous breakdown.

Pattern: Glynis, Cookie A.
Yarn: 74g Shibui Sock
Needles: 2 stk 20 cm Harmony woods str 2,5
Final Verdict: Note to self: I hate "K3tog".
